Saterday Happiness
So On Saturday my friend Meagan called and wanted to have some fun, kind-a cheer us all up and go swimming! So I said why not! Meagan, and my other friend Cameron (also my current ballroom partner) came over and we walked to the community swimming pool!! It was the most fun I have had in a looong time! We just kind-a played in the pool :) and then sat and talked for a while. I hope I can do that again sometime really soon! I love my friends I have made this past year, and am grateful for the friendships and the fun we have had!

BYU Winter Dancesport 2011
On Friday I had a ballroom competition at BYU. Kody and I danced our regualar (cha-cha and Rumba) and we made our first cut EVER in Cha-Cha and also one in Rumba! Our Cha-Cha was better than we thought it was- but it still wasn't the best! We didn't do very well on our Rumba though! We practice it A TON, and I must say we are getting better, but we still have A LOT we can improve on!

My Seminary Talk
Seminary talk;
General Conference
Sunday Morning Sister
Dalton (The
General Young Womens’ President) talked to the fathers’ of the wonderful
YW, about their job to be examples to the YW. I felt Impressed to now talk to
the YM about their job in being examples to the YW of this world, more closely,
the YW of Westlake High School. As we walk down the halls of Westlake, there
are many things going on. Most girls want the guys to notice them, and ask them
out. We hear every week from our church leaders that the YM want YW who dress
modestly and keep their standards high. Even though we hear this, we go to
school and see differently.
The
YM that we see pass the sacrament every Sunday, may be a totally different person
outside of church. Let me be the first to tell you that this bugs us! Young
Men, The Young Women look towards you as examples. Please treat the Young women
as Princesses, because they are, and they need to be treated like they are. A
great man once said, “Young Men, treat every YW as your future wife, because
one of them will end up being yours!” Some Young Women dress immodestly and
lower their standards because that is what we see you want. The YM set the
standards for the YW. If we see you flirting and asking the YW who don’t have
high standards or are dressed immodestly out, then that gives us the impression
that you don’t respect those YW who are trying hard to keep their standards
high.
Young
men, you have the priesthood. On Sundays
when you pass the sacrament you are honoring your priesthood. Sister Dalton
said “A priesthood holder is virtuous, virtuous behavior implies that you have
pure thoughts and clean actions.” As you honor your priesthood every day,
everywhere; the YW of the church will notice you, and hold their standards
higher as you do the same.
“Young
Men, Be loyal to the Royal within you.” I know as you keep your standards high,
and honor your priesthood, you will help show the YW what you really want, and
it helps guide them in a good direction.
I
know these things are true, and I am so grateful for the chance I had to listen
to conference; I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Sunday Thoughts...
So I have been very busy and I haven't actually written anything on here lately, so I thought today, while I had some time I would write :D
First off, Today we had Stake Conference, and I sang in the Youth choir. It was so much fun to get up and sing, something that I like to do and to share my love of it with other people. It was AMAZING! :D
Well, I was ready to write an amazing thought, when I realized that I didn't know what to write about. So I looked on lds.org to try to find a good topic, so lets hope that I found a good one.
We all have things that come up in our lives. There is never a moment on this earth where we have a "free" moment. we are always doing something, making a choice, telling someone something... We need to have Faith in Heavenly Father at all times! In all the choices you make, you should ask Heavenly Father for help in all of the choices you make. It doesn't matter whether those choices are big, or tiny, every choice counts so why not ask the master, the maker of our test for help. Heavenly Father knows each and every one of us individually. He knows what we are going through, and what we need at this exact instant. Every choice we make impacts our future in one way or another. President Hinckley once told a story about how one time a train was moving and one of the tiny, small track things were switched, and it ended up leading the train of track, hundreds of miles away. It's like life. one little switch can put you off the right track of hundreds of miles away, or visa versa. I would give the advise to always listen to the spirit and do what it's telling you without any questions. One day, I promise you that if you listen to what the spirit is telling you to do, the first time told, than one day you will learn why you did it! :D
Love you all!

Ballroom
Last Week I had my Ballroom camp at Westlake. It took about 9 hours of dancing a day! Mon-Thur. On Friday we danced until about noon, then we all piled into the bus and went to a water-park! It was SO fun!
On Saturday we went to BYU for there Summer Dancesport Competition. I competed in the Rumba and the Cha-cha! It was really fun! I didn't place, but there were a lot of people, and only 7 people placed. But I was proud of myself because I did my best, and didn't realy mess up!
I was so tired by the end of the day! Here is a picture of my in my costume... I have about 3 layers on.. I don't have my fishnet tights on in the picture cause I had to take them off, but everything else is on...
Here is a list of what I was wearing:
flesh colored leotard, long sleeve turtleneck white leotard, dance tights, fishnet tights, spankys, black skirt, ballroom shoes, and TONS of makeup!
Good Things Utah
When Jessica was here we also went to see "Good Things Utah"
The People were really nice, and the cook made food that smelled AMAZING!
My friend Kortnee came with us also!!

EFY!!!
SO, EFY was an AMAZING experience! I had such a great time! The food wasn't that good, but my company, "The Nobel Souls" were Amazing! We grew so close in just one week!
Jessica and i, wating to get into our groups!
We played LOTS of fun games, including the "BONG" game...
Made LOTS of friends!
Jessica, me, and our wonderful councilors!
More friends! : D
The EFY bags broke, so we made mustaches out of them!
Chloe!
We turned the Styrofoam cups inside out, the rim is the hardest to get!
Madeline's birthday is today, but because we won't see her we celebrated it last week.
Jess and I made brownies, and some other girls brought balloons and gifts!
Our wonderful group of girls!
There was some AMAZING people there! I made some wonderful friendships!

Our Birds and the Bees moment :D
So my friend Jourdan and I were watching Harry Potter in her basement when her mom comes rushing down stairs and tells us that there are beautiful butterflies on her front porch flowers, having a little fun :P
Her mom took my camera and took some pictures, then after the movie we went outside and took some pictures! It was more than I ever needed to know...
Can you see them both in the picture? You might have to look...
Papa Proud Moment
So, my papa used to be a fireman, and still loves everything about it
(though he is retired now)
So when we got the chance to shoot water out of the truck, and stuff we had to take pictures and make our papa proud of us! :D
Youth Conference
My dad got laid off the Friday before we were supposed to go to California, so that trip never happened, which meant that I was able to go to Youth Conference! It was an amazing experience! I had a lot of fun, I got sick, but it was still really good! My favorite part was probably our Stake Presidents fireside!! But there was rifle shooting, horse back riding, archery, zip-line, trust-fall, and some other great things! Oh and I should probably tell you, we went to Beaver High adventure camp. Besides the fireside, m other vary favorite thing was the ride home, It was amazing. We talked about the gospel to Strawberry Shortcake, and everything in between! The guy who gave my group a ride home was not in my ward, we have never seen him in our whole lives, but it was still amazing!!
funny story, we were racing some of our wonderful YM up the mt. like 80MPH, no joke... We got cut off, but then got back in front, well we heard the guy wrong, took a wrong turn, got stuck, and then had to ASK the SAME YM who we were racing to pull us out :O
This is my friend Kortnee and I, sitting on a log, finishing our lunch!
Keep up
SO, lately I've been lazy and not uploading my pictures to my blog, but I figured before EFY I probably should catch up on what I have been doing...
I've been at Thanksgiving Point a lot lately, volunteering... My favorite thing I did recently there was the 5 brown concert! It was amazing!
I also saw HP 7 part 2 today! That was a awesome movie, one of my favorites, but they did ruin the ending a little, but besides that it was really good!!!
