So, This Friday I taught guitar, first and second period! and I was the teacher!! well I guess this lady from the office came in a couple times, but I was the teacher. My real guitar teacher (Mr.Cortez) is in the middle of his world tour right now and they couldn't get the sub, because the sub is on his own tour, so they told me I was the teacher!! Most kids would be so excited and stuff, but I actually took it seriously! I planned out a lesson plan (kind-of) and stuff like that.
Long story short, they were TERRIBLE!!!! I thought that they would be somewhat goo, but NO!! I had to separate like everyone, and some people got detention (most of the class will get into BIGGER trouble when my teacher comes back, which is next MONTH!) I don't think I want to sub for those two classes EVER again!! I guess I will have to this month (If the sub can't come) but I won't ever again! and when their is a student sub I think I would almost want to sluff, I can't just sit their and watch the class not get anything when they are trying, so I always come but in and teach, which the students I guess are always happy when I do that, but still, I think I'll just sluff and go to science for first period! I absolutely HATED Friday! I don't want to do that ever again, but I'm too nice, and I know I will say OK anyways! So If any of you know a (really good) guitar player who would like to come and sub for our class PLEASE tell me because I don't like being the teacher. I don't want to be a group guitar teacher! I want to be a one on one piano teacher, or a English teacher! But A guitar teacher is just too hard!!! I have NO clue how he does it!
I am so grateful for teachers! from church teachers, to school teachers, to music teacher, to dance teachers, and ANYTHING in between! I love teachers!! They help our community! I just hope I'll get more professional training before I become an English teacher!
